Tools For Student Learning
The learning department has been busy on all fronts this year with the launch of the last three books of Intimacy with Purpose and the first three books of the Breaking Free series. If you haven’t heard already, Breaking Free provides a biblical understanding of addiction and contrasts that with the hope found in Christ. It takes students through an in-depth look at the dangers of toxic denial and helps them understand how grief and addiction impact one another. We’ve already sold over 23,000 copies and they are being used to introduce people to Jesus!
The next three books in the series are set to launch early this year and include: Ending the Addictive Cycle (407), Building a New Legacy (507), and Establishing a New Normal (607). All three are designed to help our students embrace hope for a better future in Christ and prepare them to stand firm as they re-enter the world outside our doors.
Don’t be surprised if you notice a new look to our original PSNL projects and GSNL products – we’re working to make updates in design and verbiage to reach the next generation of ATC students.
Tools for Your Team
On the staff training side, PSNL Facilitator Training (formerly PSNC teacher training) and Introduction to Biblical Counseling have been turned into online courses instead of lengthy and time-consuming correspondence courses. We’ve also begun beta testing our new Learning Management System (Bridge). Each accredited center will receive 10 user licenses, and we’re hopeful you’ll use all 10 at your center. More than 25 stand-alone courses designed for ATC staffers are already available – with many more to launch this year!
Over 35 centers have already been on-boarded with over 400 staff members active within the new system. We look forward to launching in all 212 centers in 2020! This tool will allow centers to create courses for their own employees, share courses internationally, schedule webinars and live trainings, and have real time data tracking all of their staff training hours.
We are honored to serve you here at the National Office. If I or any of my team can help you, please do not hesitate to let us know. Consider us another resource at your service!
