As of today, PSNL Teacher Certification is available as an online course. It will no longer be offered as a correspondence course.

What does this mean?
- The certification process has been streamlined. The course is now worth 40 CEU hours and the amount of reading has been dramatically reduced.
- The new online course provides clarity and focus. You will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively facilitate PSNL classroom learning.
- The learning experience is much more interactive. Through videos, dynamic quizzes, and learning interactions, the entire course has been designed to be much more interactive to create a better learning experience.
- There are less required materials. Other than the course fee, the only thing you will need to purchase to complete the course is the PSNL curriculum itself. That means you’ll spend less money overall and spend less time reading other sources.
- The correspondence course is going away. After June 24, we will no longer accept mailed-in certifications. Don’t worry, the online version is so much better!
What is PSNL Teacher Certification?
PSNL (Personal Studies for New Life in Christ) is the system, process and curriculum for individualized discipleship that is implemented in Adult & Teen Challenge ministries. PSNL Teacher Certification is required training to implement the PSNL in your ministry. This course prepares teachers for effective implementation of the PSNL curriculum, structure and process. This maximizes the potential of personalized discipleship in having a life-changing impact in the lives of your students.
Who is this course for?
- Anyone who will be teaching or wants to teach in the PSNL classroom
- Staff members who want to better engage students in conversations about their PSNL classwork and what God is doing in their lives
- Student mentors/advisors who want a better understand PSNL and how it can be utilized to enhance the counseling aspect of their ministry
It is recommended that all ATC staff members be trained in PSNL because:
- They will better understand and engage students about what they are learning in PSNL class
- They can fill-in the PSNL class if needed
- There is never any risk of being under the minimum number of PSNL certified teachers required by Accreditation Standards.
