Brianne Smythia grew up as a missionary kid in Uruguay, South America, where her love of serving people was born. After attending Central Bible College, she worked in the foreign missionary kid office for two and half years. Upon the leading of the Lord, she moved up to Toledo, Ohio in 2012, where she was an activities coordinator at a retirement home before becoming a Spanish teacher for six years. During this time, she also led the young adult ministry at her church, along with serving at US Missions conferences during the summers, where she fell in love with US Missions Kids! Since 2018, Brianne has become the USMK Program Manager and has been striving to build a strong foundation for the USMK ministry in order to serve the 1,400 kids who belong to this community. The goal is for the USMK Ministry is for the kids to know their identity in Christ, be a part of a thriving community and pursue Jesus together.
