The Keylon Fund was established to honor the legacy of Wayne and Wanda Keylon by providing essential support to Adult & Teen Challenge centers. We understand that unexpected challenges can disrupt your vital work. This fund provides direct assistance to ensure your center has the resources needed to continue its mission of transforming lives through the power of Jesus Christ.
We invite applications from Adult & Teen Challenge centers that meet the following criteria:
Accreditation
Your center must be in good standing with Adult & Teen Challenge accreditation.
Financial Standing
All payments and financial obligations to ATC must be current.
Reporting
All paperwork and reports from any previous grants received from the Keylon Fund must be submitted and approved before a new application can be considered.
The Keylon Fund provides grants across several key areas to address the most common and urgent needs faced by centers.
Funding for resources that directly impact students’ daily lives and recovery. This includes items like bunk beds, mattresses, bedding, furniture, and essential facility repairs like HVAC or bathroom updates.
Support to keep your kitchen running safely and efficiently. Grants can cover new appliances like stoves and refrigerators or larger-scale renovations.
Assistance to ensure you have reliable transportation for student needs, from court dates and appointments to church services and outreach. This can include major repairs or funding toward a van purchase.
Support for initiatives that build financial sustainability and provide job readiness training for students. This could involve start-up funds, supplies, equipment, or software for ventures like thrift stores or handmade goods programs.
We have designed our process to be clear and straightforward so you can get the help you need.
Complete the online application form. You will be asked to provide details about your center, the specific need, and cost estimates.
Our committee reviews applications on a quarterly basis. We will carefully consider your request and its potential impact.
You can expect a decision from the committee within one month of the application due date.
We recognize that some needs are too critical to wait. The committee has the discretion to approve emergency grants for unforeseen and urgent situations that directly impact your center’s ability to operate. Please reach out directly to the Committee chair in this event.
If your center is facing a challenge that is standing in the way of your mission, we encourage you to apply. Let us come alongside you to remove obstacles so that healing can continue.
If you need assistance or have questions about the application process, please do not hesitate to reach out.
